Job summary
The job involves all phases of patient testing: pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical. The Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist will be involved in specimen handling and processing, performs assistant level testing, receives purchase orders, stocks supplies efficiently, ensures patient results are available to meet physician needs while maintaining confidentiality.Responsibilities
- Responsible for specimen handling and processing.
- Performs assistant level testing in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Data entry of patient demographics required testing requisitioned information into lab computer system.
