    Job Description

    The Human Relations Assistant will assist employees with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, staffing/recruiting and organization development. The Human Relations Assistant will track and coordinate all new hire in-processing procedures: paperwork, medical testing, background investigations, and payroll-related items. The Human Relations Assistant will ensure consistent application of Human Relations policies and procedures in relation to staffing/recruitment, new-hire processing, employee personnel records and payroll information.
    • This position must be willing to work on shift, Monday - Friday, 6-2:30 pm or 12-8:30 pm
    • Maintain employee data in SAP
    • Process all organizational, position and salary changes in SAP
    • Maintain time and attendance system
    • Maintain employee personnel records in Electronic File Management System
    • Assist with Regional KPI's, monthly reports as required
    • Assist employees with resolving payroll related issues
    • Manage and conduct New Employee Orientation every other week.
    • Processing badge requests
    • Process all required SAP reports
    • Process orders in CEOS
    • Work with and manage confidential materials and information
    • Create purchase orders when needed
    • Meeting preparation (i.e. food, setup, etc.)
    • Maintain Labor Bulletin Boards
    • Assist with production interviews when necessary
    • Work with and manage confidential materials and information
    • Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls
    • Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
    • Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
    • Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate's Degree in Human Relations, Business Management or related field
    • 2 plus years experience in Human Relations, customer service or employee relations role
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
    • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity

    • Bachelor's degree
    • SAP experience in payroll and HR modules
