    Clinical Services Specialist - RN

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Clinical Services Specialist - RN to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide subject matter expertise to our senior living communities while also traveling within the division as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day healthcare operations of the community, ensuring resident healthcare needs are met and quality care is provided.
    • Supervise licensed nurses and direct care staff, overseeing and validating all resident care to ensure needs are met and care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, policies/procedures, and state and federal regulations.
    • Travel within the division as assigned to support management vacancies, start-ups, vacations, etc.
    • Directly supervise community-based licensed nursing staff (LPN/LVN, RN), CNAs, and Med Techs/CMAs, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Requirements:

    • RN license
    • Five years of skilled nursing experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or District/Regional Nurse Consultant required
    • Certification in Infection Prevention/Control and RAI process preferred

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    • Standing
    • Requires interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors
    • Walking
    • Sitting
    • Occasional weekend, evening, or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage
    • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel
    • On-Call on an as needed basis

    Management/Decision Making:

    Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department, using sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness, or a combination of these.
