Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts, requiring ARRT-CT certification and strong trauma and angiogram experience.
Details

Position is based in a 492-bed Level II Trauma Center
Works with inpatient and outpatient populations, primarily adults with occasional pediatric outpatients and ED cases
Work schedule is 10-hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
No call requirements, weekend rotation typically once a month
Average caseload of 4 patients per hour (approximately 40 per shift) with a 1:1 patient ratio
Role may float throughout the main Radiology department as needed
Uses GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
Requirements

Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
ARRT-CT credential required
State license preferred; license required if applicable
Trauma and angiogram experience required
Biopsy drainage experience preferred
Strong stroke perfusion experience is strongly preferred
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; 2 years required for first-time travelers
Additional Information

Main responsibilities include performing CT studies, trauma imaging, angiograms, and stroke perfusion procedures
Orientation includes 1 eight-hour hospital orientation and 2-3 unit shifts with a preceptor
Team members must work one major and one minor holiday per hospital policy
Compliance with a 60-mile radius rule; local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
Perm staff must wait 6 months before being considered for travel positions
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
Free parking is available

American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
