- Prepare customer quotations and proposals using company-established pricing guidelines.
- Interpret and communicate customer requirements to Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting through the use of ERP Software. Expedite orders as necessary.
- Address customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner. Follow up on major quotations and oversee distributor relations.
- Review terms, conditions, and quality clauses for customer orders. Track shipments and update customers on order status.
- Handle return authorizations, credits, or replacements as applicable. Provide product information and technical support to customers. Escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records and complete required reports.
- Register and navigate customers' websites for orders, changes, and RFQs.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally.
- Assist Accounting in collecting past-due invoices and preparing Pro Forma Invoices.
- Oversee and maintain favorable customer ratings for on-time delivery and quality.
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in sales administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products.
- Order entry experience using a mainframe/AS400 system preferred (MAPICS desired).
