    Role Overview:
    Our Ideal Candidate: We are seeking passionate, reflective elementary teachers with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to create a different kind of learning experience. The ideal candidate will not only deliver highly personalized instruction, but also inspire curiosity, foster foundational academic skills, and nurture confidence and independence across core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. We want educators who share in the frustration with traditional learning environments and are eager to build a better future—one student at a time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Adapt strategies to meet every student's unique style, transforming challenges into opportunities.
    • Experiment with new models and tools that disrupt the traditional mold of education.
    • Measure what matters, using assessments not as shackles, but as instruments for growth and innovation.
    • Collaborate deeply with families to co-create individualized learning paths that empower rather than constrain.
    • Contribute to the blueprint of Dragons Academy, helping shape the policies, culture, and direction of a school determined to lead education into its next era.

    Qualifications:
    Knowledge / Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's preferred).
    • Must hold valid Florida Teacher Certification in Physical Education K–12 OR a Temporary Florida Teaching Certificate with an agreement to complete requirements for full Florida Educator Certification in Physical Education within three years of employment start date.
    • Minimum of 3 years of teaching or coaching experience preferred.
    • Strong background in physical education, fitness, and health instruction.
    • Experience with individualized and inclusive teaching approaches.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Driven, reflective learner with a growth mindset
    • Must have empathy for students and enthusiasm for developing personalized, one-to-one learning relationships.
