    Description
    Demonstrates expanded knowledge of corporate IT desktop initiatives and solutions.

    Utilizes knowledge of IT department standardized procedures and practices and company knowledge to support and solve problems related to computer systems (desktops, laptops), printers, mobile devices, audio visual equipment, desktop software, and endpoint problems related to application delivery, security components, patch management, and Active Directory Group Policies.

    Assists with managing the various workstation images. Analyzes possible solutions using logical thinking skills and analytical problem solving skills. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. May provide informal guidance and direction to other team members. May participate in the creation, implementation, and/or administration of technical solutions and controls. Develops plans, processes, procedures, and standards to address requirements. Participates as a contributing member to IT project teams. Researches best practices and develops subject matter knowledge and broadened business understanding.


    Essential Job Tasks:
    Utilizes various endpoint management tools to maintain a healthy endpoint infrastructure.
    Maintains, supports, and installs endpoint infrastructure such as workstations, mobile devices, audio visual equipment, printers and plotters.
    Provides support for technical hardware, software and communications problems.
    Researches new desktop technology initiatives, develops technical requirements and recommends solutions to meet business objectives and requirements.

    Represents Computer Client Services on various IT project teams including the evaluation, procurement, deployment, and management of endpoint infrastructure needed to meet the project's business goals.

    Develops and implements standards, policies and procedures relating to computer systems (desktops, laptops), audio visual equipment, printer infrastructure, mobile devices and patch management.

    Ensures junior staff are following procedures.

    Provides input within IT to develop road maps for workstations, printers, plotters, audio visual equipment and mobile devices to support corporate strategies and critical business requirements which includes refresh cycles, deployment, maintenance, support and the decommission of endpoint assets.

    Collaborates with customers, vendors and technical staff to research new computer systems(desktop, laptops), desktop software, plotter, printer, mobile devices, and audio visual technologies, develops technical requirements, and recommends solutions to meet business objectives and requirements.

    Provides 24x7 on-call support.
