Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health empowers individuals to live well by promoting the well-being of all individuals and communities.We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the physical and mental condition of patients through comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries diseases deformities including symptoms treatment alternatives drug properties interactions preventive healthcare measures
Critical thinking complex problem-solving skills verbal written communication interpersonal skills ability to develop implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans counsel patients concerning medical psychological psychiatric conditions treatment plans behavior modification interpret evaluate laboratory diagnostic tests current license practice physician assistant state Texas basic life support within days hire transfer current certification National Commission Certification Physician Assistant NCCPA
