Job Description:
Are you ready to make a difference in your community by joining our team as a Behavioral Health Co-Responder Clinician at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office? If you have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, and two years of post-licensure experience in crisis counseling, verbal de-escalation, and working with diverse populations, then this role might be perfect for you.
- Salary range: $47.41 hourly / $65, $98,612.80 annually (final salary based on DOQ). Anticipated hiring range: $39.50 hourly / $65, $82,160.00 annually.
- Full-time position with on-call work schedule assignments that may require nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Responsibilities include providing behavioral health evaluations, crisis interventions, and referrals in collaboration with law enforcement personnel.
- Must have a current LCSW/LPC/LMFT license in Colorado, as well as CPR and First Aid certification.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience working with law enforcement officials and LAC certification.

- Ability to establish effective relationships and communicate clearly and professionally.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in relevant field.
- Two years of post-licensure experience in crisis counseling and related areas.
Professional Certifications/Licenses:
- Current LCSW/LPC/LMFT license in Colorado
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with law enforcement
- LAC certification
Necessary Special Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License.
- Must successfully complete probationary period and training.
