    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator and Payroll Specialist to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    As a Human Resources Coordinator and Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR and Payroll functions.

    HR Coordinator Duties

    Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
    Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
    Coordinate employee training programs and assist with the development of training materials
    Support employee relations by addressing employee questions and concerns, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
    Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
    Conduct data entry and maintain HR databases and systems
    Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
    Collaborate with HR Manager on various projects and initiatives
    Provide general administrative support to the HR department
    Other duties as assigned
    Payroll Specialist Duties

    Process payroll for all company divisions to include verifying all payroll changes from all locations, and entering into the computerized system any adjustments to payroll, such as garnishments, deductions, wage assignments, bonus checks, etc., processing all timecards, checking for accuracy, and entering into computer, etc.

    Ensures status changes and audits of time records are accurate and any discrepancies are addressed and resolved.
    Scan, attach and file required documents and reports according to ARK Parent, LLCs and state and federal payroll guidelines (i.e. W2s, 1095Cs, unemployment data, garnishments, etc.)
    Responds to payroll questions and concerns of employees, researching records and involving other resources/staff as needed.
    Payroll reconciliations with General Ledger balances, benefits vendor billings, tax, and other deduction and contribution source data.
    Payroll Accruals completed monthly

    Keeps current with HR payroll policies and public policy changes affecting payroll rules and guidelines; provides input to policies and procedures for payroll processing.

    Prepare headcount sheets.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
    Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role
    Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures
    Proficient in using HRIS systems (preferably UKG) and other HR software
    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
    Knowledge of talent management principles and practices
    Strategic planning abilities to contribute to HR initiatives
    Experience in employee relations and conflict management
