    Graco is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join the Strategic Sourcing team who will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, developing sourcing strategies, and overseeing contract management to drive cost reduction and enhance process efficiency.

    This role involves proactive engagement with suppliers, leading RFPs, and supporting negotiations with senior Strategic Sourcing team members.


    Responsibilities:

    Supplier Management:

    Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance against established metrics and KPIs, and addressing any performance issues proactively.

    Implement supplier performance management programs, helping to conduct supplier business reviews and approved supplier list publications.


    Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers.
    Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
    Support Category Managers in creating content and presentations to inform internal stakeholders of sourcing decisions, strategy, and implementation.


    Procurement Execution:
    Coordinate with internal departments such as production, engineering, and office staff to determine procurement needs and specifications.

    Escalation for Associate Sourcing Specialists related to purchase order management, invoice management, shipments, and late deliveriesWorks on executing specific strategies and projects devised by the Category Manager, ensuring alignment with category goals, while reporting direct to the Sourcing Manager.


    Negotiation & Contracting:
    Assist Senior Sourcing Specialists and Category Managers in negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
    Review and summarize contracts to inform sourcing professionals of the impact to the business and stakeholders.


    Requirements & Skills:


    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience with 3+ years of relevant experience).Proven experience in conducting market research, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.

    Indirect sourcing experience in goods and services.
    Strong understanding of cost analysis and cost reduction techniques.
    Excellent negotiation and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
