As a Security Officer - Apartment Community Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will document observations, respond to questions and/or concerns, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and key interior areas, observe for unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged gates, or unsecured equipment, and report concerns per site procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.

Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
