    Outside Sales Representative – Equipment Rental Company - Total Comp to 100k/year – Easton, PA

    • Our client is a rental equipment company that has been in business for over 50 years. They have a variety of customers who use their products such as construction firms, warehouses, distribution centers, hospitals, municipalities and many more. Their focus is on the people they affect with their organization and are committed to providing great equipment, with "World Famous" service on a daily basis.
    • Our client is looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative to generate leads and drive sales to meet established sales goals and customer expectations of an Outstanding Rental Experience. A deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills are critical to success in this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generating leads consistent with company's strategic plan.
    • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
    • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
    • Negotiating, preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
    • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
    • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
    • Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
    • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
    • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
    • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
    • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
    • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
    • Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
    • Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
    • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years' experience in an outside sales or other role preferably within construction or a related industry.
    • High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred.
    • Proven outside sales experience.
    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

    Compensation:

    • Total compensation to 100k/year; which includes a base salary up to 60k/year, and uncapped commission plan which can add 40k or more in commission in the first year
