- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Administering medications as directed by the healthcare team
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Participating in resident care plan meetings and providing input on resident care needs
- Proactively identifying and addressing any potential safety concerns
- Adhering to all state and federal regulations and company policies Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from an accredited program
- At least 1 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior care setting
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as necessary
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
