    Description
    Software Developer Senior
    • Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.
    • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems for onboard ship and submarine research.
    • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
    • Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.
    • Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software.
    • Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results.
    Conduct troubleshooting of existing LabVIEW systems in a development / test lab environment

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Education: BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

    • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience specializing in LabVIEW software development

    • Required Technical Skills: Must be at least a Certified LabVIEW developer (CLD), Certified LabVIEW architect (CLA) preferred

    • Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

    • Required Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with developing for wide range of National Instruments (NI) products both DAQmx and FPGA based.

    • Location: On Customer Site
