    Description
    Geologics is seeking a talented Principal Cyber Test Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners based in Aurora, CO. This a 12-month contract position. Position: Principal Cyber Test EngineerType: W-2, ContractPay: $ $92.00 per hourLocation: Onsite in Aurora, CO; but some local travel is required to support program activities DoD Clearance Requirement: In order to be considered for this position, a current Active Secret is required.Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.     • Develop and execute test procedures for verifying cybersecurity and information assurance requirements of a complex, software-based satellite ground control system.
    • Identify, document, integrate and troubleshoot cybersecurity-related issues
    • Develop and implement automation using scripting methods or techniques
    • Support reporting and data analysis activities related to formal test activities
    Required Skills/Qualifications:
    • In order to be considered for this position, an Active Secret DoD clearance is required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered if all other qualifications are met.
    • Minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity integration/test experience on a government contract, to include:
      • Experience preparing and executing test procedures to verify cybersecurity requirements of a satellite ground system
      • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
      • Experience with script development (Python, Perl, CECIL)
      • Experience identifying and resolving issues with cybersecurity and information assurance policies
      • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) configuration and management
      • Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems
    Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
    • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
    • Experience with ground station satellite domains (command and telemetry, flight dynamics or mission planning)
    • Test Automation (Eggplant, Cucumber, Gherkin)
