This position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly at the time of application

What you will be doing:

• Provides support to the ISSM for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave.
• Assists in maintaining appropriate operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Provides support to the Government on all matters (technical and otherwise) involving the security of the information system.
• Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and is assigned performs day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Assists in the development of the system security policy and ensures compliance with that policy on a routine basis.
• Develops and updates the system security plan, as well as managing and controlling changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those changes.
• Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement IT security programs and policies.
• Provides configuration management for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware

Position Requirements Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Ten years of related work experience
• Has a working knowledge of the security authorization processes and procedures.
• Experience in several of the following areas is required: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.

Familiarity with commercial security products, security authorization techniques, security incident management, and PKI and authorization services Education:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering may be substituted for four years of experience; substitution of work experience is at the discretion of the COR

Knowledge/Skills :

• CAP
• GSLC
