    Morton Plant Hospital – Cardiovascular ICU – Clearwater, Florida


    Status:
    Full Time

    Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
    Every other weekend requirement

    ~ Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
    ~1-year experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
    ~ The Registered Nurse – ICU responsibilities and skills:
    Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
    Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
    Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
    Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
    Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
    Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
    Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
    High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
