- You will take all appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the patient.
- You will provide individualized, goal-directed care with ongoing education, training, and emotional support to foster a partnership with the patient, family and significant others.
- You will communicate pertinent payor needs requirements to patient, patient family, treatment team and physician.
- You will assist the Therapy Manager and departmental Supervisor with daily departmental operations and any additional activities as assigned.
- You will effectively communicate with and supervise clinical fellows.

- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Speech Therapists performs assessments, establishes goals, performs therapy, assess progress and modifies treatment plan and goals. Each an everyday our SLPs strive to meet the patient's needs in an efficient, productive manner and within the guidelines of the Speech/Language Pathology Practice Act and the American Speech/Language-Hearing Association's Standards for Practice and Code of Ethics. Our therapists are passionate about setting the standard for patient-centered healthcare.

Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. Our specialties include cardiac care, neurosciences and oncology. We have surgical services, orthopedics, kidney transplants and emergency care. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER's located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
