    Description
    8p-8a Hillsborough County- Flexible days with weekend requirementLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

    • Under the direction of the Primary RN, the LPN is responsible for identifying Patient/Family needs and coordinating Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) provision of services under physician's orders.
    • The LPN utilizes monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the Patient/Family unit.
    • Supervised and collaborates with Primary RN and/or CTM.
    • Graduate of a License certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
    • Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.

    Certification:
    Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

    • Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
    • Must provide proof of Valid Florida State Driver's License, valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients/families, providers, direct co-workers and peers.
    • Excellent multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent typing and computer input skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel), Suncoast Solutions preferred.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
