What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Yazaki Innovations, Inc team in Phoenix/Arizona. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 11, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
What you will be doing:
- Project Work: Work Closely with our Operations Team (SLRC) to develop a Manufacturing Dashboard to help understand CapEX utilization in real time for quoting new programs.
- Success Metrics: [A working prototype dashboard at the end of the internship that can capture utilization and open capacity to limit CapEX spend.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Director Of Operations Strategy, Industrial Engineering department in SLRC plant.
What you will bring to the table:
- Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
- Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., Computer Science/Engineering).
- Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment: Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
- Technical Skills: Ability to do basic programming and MS Office skills
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
