JOB DESCRIPTION
Concrete finishers make sure the concrete used on job sites is the desired pith, required form and depth.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids
Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on projects preference
Removing edges on expansion joints and sides
Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved
Performs other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience:
1 yr of Concrete Finishing experience


Related Experience:
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Highschool diploma/ GED or equivalent

Work Experience:
3+ years of Concrete Finishing experience


Related Experience:

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Precise hand/eye coordination:
Constantly


Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Constantly

Pushing, or pulling objects weighing over 50 lbs: Constantly

Pushing, or pulling objects weighing over 100 lbs: Occasionally

Lifting objects weighing over 50 lbs.


from the floor to waist:
Constantly

Carrying objects weighing over 50 lbs


minimum 10 ft:
Constantly

Hand grip objects weighing over 50 lbs: Constantly

Pinching objects weighing over 15 lbs: Constantly

Kneeling, squatting, twisting, overhead reach for minimum of 2 minutes: Constantly

Crawling through or under objects: Occasionally

Climbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: Constantly

Walking and standing on concrete floors in the plant and/or warehouse: Constantly

Other: Working in conditions subject to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights
