- Coordinate and communicate project status with client representatives
- Design to client and regulatory requirements
- Manage mid to large projects and programs
- Develop green and brown field high voltage electrical substation projects
- Create and maintain project documentation for protection and control design and construction
- Support the development of various project plans and diagrams
- Manage project subordinates to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements
- Review vendor drawings and maintain project files
- Enforce project quality plans and report safety issues to management
- Prepare contract amendments and assist with proposal activities
- Proven experience in ComEd standards
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work independently
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and design software
- Experience with power system studies and relay settings
- Familiarity with CAD software and ability to plan and schedule projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an ABET accredited institution
- P.E. preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of protection & control/substation design engineering experience
