    Our client, a reputable full service construction provider, is seeking a skilled Construction Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting operations and financial processes As a Construction Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of their construction projects while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Reporting to the Controller, you will be the head of operations within the Accounting department and collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to drive financial success.

    Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
    • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
    • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
    • Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as required.

    Accounting Manager Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of progression/accounting experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial role or 2 years in a Senior-level role, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Foundation preferred.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
