    Job Summary

    The position involves working on complex and diverse dam, levee, and water resources projects within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will possess specialized experience in structural engineering and strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Job Description

    Civil/Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Perform structural calculations, analyses, and modeling.
    • Conduct inspections and structural assessments of existing structures and structures under construction.
    • Prepare reports and technical memorandums.
    • Create construction drawings and specifications for reinforced concrete and steel structures and associated elements.
    • Maintain code compliance and applicable standards on projects.
    • Develop work plans with schedules and budgets to address technical challenges.
    • Lead structural engineering work with excellent technical quality within schedule and budget.

    Requirements

    • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
    • 3 to 10 years of progressive experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably for hydraulic structures and water resources projects.
    • Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and design, material selection, and reinforced concrete design.
    • Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain Colorado P.E. within 6 months of hire.
