    Vice President of Sales & MarketingJob DescriptionThe Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the Destination Homes customer experience throughout the home-building process.

    They manage the day-to-day activities of the sales model home offices, agents, and the selling of homes to buyers.

    They develop and lead their team to help generate revenue for Destination Homes through building client relationships, setting goals, and meeting customer needs.

    The Sales Manager develops and demonstrates a thorough understanding of Destination Homes products and services.

    Primary Duties Craft and implement sales strategies to align with company objectives and establish measurable sales goals while ensuring the consistent review of performance data to forecast future outcomes.

    Provide leadership and direction to the Destination Homes sales team, facilitating their success in guiding customers through the purchasing process and maximizing home sales.

    Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective training and motivational practices.

    Facilitate monthly goal-setting workshops along with group training to enhance the team's sales acumen and collective performance.
    Spearhead coaching sessions and lead team meetings to ensure continuous professional growth and performance improvement.
    Take charge of team development initiatives, including regular training sessions to enhance their skills and industry knowledge.
    Conduct market research to discern customer demands and preferences, devising tailored solutions that address consumer needs effectively.
    Develop supporting materials for sales presentations, adapting content to meet the dynamic requirements of different audiences.
    Oversee sales contract processes, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed and complies with required standards.
    Prepare all necessary documents for real estate closings, liaising with relevant parties to ensure a seamless transaction experience.
    Diligently record new sales information into systems for accurate sales tracking and reporting.
    Maintain proactive communication with title companies, scheduling and attending regular meetings to streamline collaboration.
    Issue closing notifications promptly, ensuring all involved parties are informed of the transaction timelines.
    Champion and uphold Destination Homes' core values, vision, and mission statement in all sales activities and customer interactions.
    Respond to additional tasks or projects delegated by higher management, exhibiting adaptability and a collaborative spirit.
    Broadly responsible for miscellaneous duties as needed, adaptable to evolving job requirements and organizational priorities.

    Experience & Skills5+ years of relevant experienceLicensed real estate agent or broker in the state of UtahExperience in coaching and leadership conversationsProven sales record, preferably in the homebuilding or real estate industryExperience in training, managing, and motivating a team of personnel preferredExcellent organizational, verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to balance multiple priorities and assignments with attention to detail and a strong work ethicEffective time management skills and the ability to multitaskAttention to detailPhysical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around construction site, apartment homes, models, and propertiesThis position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulatesMust have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs.
