Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We're looking for an experienced developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready.

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

4+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
4+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Experience with Web Application, Service, or back-end development
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git and Jira
Bachelor's degree in IT or Cyber
Top Secret clearance
Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Ability to write source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Ability to work with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products
Ability to create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative, cross-functional team
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
