    Summary

    This position exists to facilitate the improvement of work processes within the organization by leading and working with cross-functional. The individual will assess, prioritize and complete projects on the basis of their potential to return cost savings, enhance revenue, reduce waits and delays, and improve customer and employee satisfaction. This will be accomplished by analyzing business processes using quality improvement tools and Toyota Lean techniques. This position will also be responsible for providing key operational performance criteria to the organization including information on financial, productivity, and quality indicators.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in business, engineering, or healthcare, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and analytical problem-solving.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and adult teaching skills.
  • Extensive experience with personal computers, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading successful performance improvement projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field and five or more years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Lean and/or Sigma techniques and demonstration of successfully completed Six Sigma projects.
