    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Under the guidance of the Network & Systems Manager, this employee is responsible for implementing all information systems within the organization.

    Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and support of the network, communications, and data management.
    Qualifications:


    FUNCTIONS:


    • Install and configure software and hardware.
    • Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable.
    • Manage network servers and technology tools.
    • Set up accounts and workstations.
    • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
    • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
    • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
    • Handling and managing confidential information in accordance with company policy while building security needs as necessary to ensure data integrity.
    • Develop expertise to train staff in modern technologies.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    SCOPE OF AUTHORITY REPORTING:

    The employee is required to perform assigned daily routines on a timely basis. The employee is expected to work with departmental directors as well as employees in other departments. Must be a key team member to ensure all customers are cared for. The employee reports to the Network & Systems Manager.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education

    • Associate Degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or comparable work experience Knowledge and Skill Abilities
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision-making, customer service, oral and written communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and group presentations
    • Demonstrated proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing desktop operating systems, business applications, desktop computer hardware, peripherals, and printers.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows (client and server)
    • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and virtual servers (Hyper-V)
    • Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, MS SQL, or IBM DB2
    • Ability to create scripts in Batch, PowerShell, BASH, or other languages.
    • Must have physical ability to lift sixty (60) pounds
    PHYSICAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

    Employees must regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Works in a typical climate-controlled office environment. Rarely is exposed to blood or blood products. Requires flexibility and patience when responding to sudden requests by staff members.
