    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Primary Purpose:

    The Analyst is primarily responsible for customer credit analysis, FX transaction management, cash forecasting, coordinating the movement of cash and debt management.

    Essential Duties / Responsibilities may include:

    • Gather and analyze customer's financial data to assess creditworthiness and evaluate risk.
    • Perform credit reviews and provide credit determinations and ratings to extend credit to customers.
    • Provide credit requirements to customers and ensure credit is in place in a timely manner, as necessary.
    • Generate and maintain customer relationships both internally and externally.
    • Serve as a contact for transactional credit approvals.
    • Maintain customer credit limits, including management of credit support.
    • Develop knowledge to become a functional expert in international treasury operations.
    • Assist in the development of processes and procedures related to foreign currency transactions.
    • Maintain the corporate cash forecasting model (Excel experience necessary).
    • Update forecasting assumptions through correspondence with relevant business units.
    • Utilize the cash forecast to obtain interest savings by determining optimal borrowing levels.
    • Compile and analyze cash forecasts for trends.
    • Analyze forecast to actual variances to test and refine the cash forecasting process.
    • Prepare monthly treasury reporting related to cash flows, investments, interest rates, foreign currencies.
    • Analyze daily cash needs and prepare requisite instruction notices for the bank.
    • Track and analyze monthly bank fees and communicate opportunities for savings to management.
    • Prepare and present quarterly allowance for doubtful accounts calculations and recommendations to management.
    • Assist in debt covenant calculations and preparation of quarterly lender reporting packages.
    • Monitor market and industry trends to proactively identify potential credit risks, interest rate risk, and foreign currency risk and recommend appropriate actions.
    • Identify process inefficiencies and cost savings solutions.
    • Lead and assist with strategic projects.
    • Maintain borrowing and interest schedules with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Support the quarterly Financial Reporting process.
    • Interact effectively with other departments to ensure proper accounting of treasury related transactions.
    • Assist with the annual budgeting process.
    • Back-up Treasury Manager/Supervisor and Treasury Analyst positions as necessary.
    • Provide financial analysis and other ad hoc projects as requested.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum requirements:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience.

    Experience / Specific Knowledge:

    • One to three years' experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting or related area.
    • One year credit analysis experience required.
    • Knowledge of international treasury operations or foreign currency exchange is required.
    • Cash forecasting experience preferred.
    • Previous financial modeling experience preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts preferred.

    Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

    Competencies / Skills / Abilities:

    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, Vlookup)
    • Strong ability to multi-task in a deadline driven setting.
    • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
    • Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
    • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
    • Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
    • Ability to show previous process improvements.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
    • Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on qualifications, experience and skill sets of the successful candidate.

    Working Conditions:

    • Modern office location in Lakewood, Colorado (Denver Metro)
    • May be required to carry a cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
    • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

    Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:

    • MBA or MS Finance, or enrolled in an MBA or MS Finance program preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Power BI experience preferred
    • Experience with CapIQ and Bloomberg preferred
