    Record Keeping and Documentation
    - Maintains detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments

    Professional Conduct
    • Seeks physician consultation when necessary, maintaining open communication
    • Demonstrates exceptional professionalism and integrity in all aspects of patient care
    Quality Improvement and Compliance
    - Works towards achieving quality improvement goals, striving for excellence in patient care

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
    • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, electronic medical records, and practice management system

    Education and Experience:

    • Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of clinical experience in primary care
    • Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of primary care experience
    • Appropriate licensure and certification, DEA registration, and Maryland CDS license
    • Interest in or experience working in community health settings
    • Experience working in diverse environments and ability to work harmoniously with various groups of individuals required
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills essential

    Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

    • Work is typically performed in a clinical and office setting, with occasional travel to Chase Brexton Health Services clinics required. Exposure to communicable diseases or hazardous materials is possible, but established precautions minimize risk.
    • Ability to perform tasks normally associated with clinical care (i.e., sitting, standing, fine motor coordination), use of the keyboard for typing or editing EMR notes, and clinically evaluating and communicating plans to patients.
    • Must meet Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) requirements.
