Financial Services Litigation Associate

This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to build a career in financial services litigation while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

Provide high-quality legal services to clients and senior attorneys, ensuring client needs are met.
Conduct thorough legal and factual research and analysis for pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents.
Draft pleadings, argue motions, and represent clients in court when necessary.
Participate in discovery processes, including depositions and document review.
Assist in developing litigation strategies and providing input to senior attorneys.
Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within established deadlines.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in California and in good standing.
Entry-level associate with demonstrated experience in legal research and writing.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules.
Ability to draft clear and effective legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new substantive legal topics.
