    Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Allocation/Sales Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAP capabilities in sales order and allocation management, with a focus on precise inventory management of multiple inventory segments. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of sales delivery, end to end order fulfillment, and related activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Order Fulfillment:

    • Process and manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Utilize SAP capabilities to manage and allocate sales orders efficiently to maximize fulfillment.
    • Develop strategies and dashboards for optimal order allocation based on inventory availability and customer priorities.
    • Monitor sales orders and proactively identify and resolve any issues that may impact order fulfillment.
    • Monitor order book to reduce backorders, delivery blocks, and facilitate EDI flow with Customer Service
    • Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to optimize delivery schedules.
    • Address and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly.

    Allocation, Order Monitoring, and Inventory Management:

    • Allocate inventory based on demand, sales forecasts, and product availability.
    • Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels in multiple inventory segments and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve order-related challenges.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the distribution center and supply/demand team to ensure product availability.
    • Implement best practices for inventory segmentation to enhance overall inventory management efficiency.
    • Leverage SAP functionalities for sales order management, allocation, and related processes.
    • Investigate and collaborate with IT and support teams to address any system-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

    Collaboration with Sales and Operations and Distribution Center:

    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and priorities.
    • Facilitate EDI flow with various departments.
    • Collaborate with Customer service, commercial, and operations teams to align order allocation strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the distribution center to provide the team with necessary information and instructions for efficient order processing.
    • Collaborate on continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate reports using SAP S4 and BI to analyze order allocation performance and inventory segmentation effectiveness.
    • Manage Sales order Fulfillment and other Supply Chain KPIs
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in allocation, sales operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, or a similar role.
    • Proficient in using SAP for sales order and allocation management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
    • Proficiency in Excel, BI, and other data analysis tools
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong business acumen and sense of urgency
