    Role:

    To train, manage , and lead an inventory team to ensure inventory accuracy . Be reliable in maintaining receipts and releases from inventory. Conduct a daily inventory analysis to identify issues and resolve through cycle counts and investigations . Develop and implement inventory maintenance procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Release/receive inventory for South Be nd location
    2. Support Tupelo and external warehouse inventories as needed .
    3. Train staff to ensure attainment of department performance goals
    4. Create, monitor and evaluate SOP's for inventory control . Implement procedures in accordance with SOX controls
    5. Generate and analyze a weekly shelf life of report of all finished goods to ensure proper management of aging and excess stock
    6. Review and submit a report each day of the previous day shortages
    7. Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products
    8. C omplete inventory adjustment requests to maintain balance across systems
    9. Hold investigations and provide conclusions on OSDs & customer complaints
    10. Verify all releasing and receiving is completed daily in order to reflect "real time" inventory stock on hand
    11. Conduct a daily inventory analysis to solve any inventory issues
    12. Oversees that the inventory team performs daily cycle counts as well as completes a full cycle count on all locations by the determined time frame allotted
    13. Generat e and analyz e reports to ensure all postings are complete at EOM
    14. Provide assistance and direction to colleagues and subordinates as required
    15. Ensure the inventory group adheres to company polic i es
    16. Collect and report product information for recalls
    17. Follow up on all inventory person nel and their required job duties to confirm everyone is executing each task and with accuracy
    18. May perform other duties as assigned.
    Skills and Qualifications:

    1. Computer literate - Knowledge of SAP & Mic rosoft Excel
    2. Problem solving skills
    3. Strong in math
    4. Must work well independently as well as with others
    5. Overseeing / Managing multiple employees
    Education .
    1. Background in Management and Inventory Control
    2. High School Diploma
