    Tool & Die TechnicianAmeristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Tool & Die Technician.

    The primary job function is the support of tooling throughout any department in the plant and provide machining services for all manufacturing departments.


    What you will be doing:
    Coordinate with departments on tooling and machining issues. Manage tooling personnel within the department. Track job time. Troubleshoot tooling in the press or mill. CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill.) Tool Design and fabrication. Mastercam programming. Work with maintenance to decrease downtime on equipment.

    The skills and experience you need:
    High school diploma/trade school preferred. Preferred Journeyman status. 5-7 years' experience with progressive/compound/pierce and draw dies. Lean and 5S Training Experience with tube/roll mills. Tool Design-Dies/Fixtures Operate CNC mills and lathes. Wire EDM operation and programming. Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues. AutoCAD/Solidworks.
