Job Summary:Primary responsibilities include design and development of beam delivery products used in laser systems. This is a fast paced, hands-on role designing compact precision components and systems for use with high performance fiber laser systems.
Job Functions:

Design and development of mechanical, opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical components for laser beam delivery laser systems
Design engagement from concept through production release
Create tests and tooling for design verification/validation
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs
Support Sales and Production with sustaining engineering activities

Requirements:

Minimum BSME required
5+ years experience in the field or related field (opto-mech devices and systems, laser processing heads, laser scanning systems, fiber components, photonics components and devices, precision mechanical)
SolidWorks design experience
Experience designing opto-mechanical systems and components a plus
Proficient design and development organizational skills

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R. §120.15 are required. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
