    Founded in 1991, AMIkids Gainesville is a private non-profit, staff-secure day treatment facility in Gainesville, Florida.

    Our program operates during regular school hours, serving both boys and girls who have committed a variety of non-violent offenses and are involved with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

    Our staff works together with our kids and their families to address issues both in the home and in the student's neighborhood and help our kids to work through their issues and gain the needed skills to return to their families and communities.

    AMIkids has served over 140,000 kids and their families since 1969.

    AMIkids is actively hiring for a Licensed Mental Health Professional, with Independent Licensure in the State required.

    Our Team Members are Essential to the success of our Youth.


    What you will be doing:


    As a Licensed Mental Health Professional with AMIkids, we would like you to perform and ensure that individualized clinical needs are met for our Youth by providing clinical treatment through development, implementation, and general oversight of specialized services (screening, assessments, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and referrals).


    You must have:
    Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related Human Services field.

    We are looking for individuals with the following type of experience/licensure in Florida


    • LMHC
    • LCSW
    • LMFT


    We prefer Team Members have experience working with at-risk youth (this is not a deal-breaker), but we can also provide training to allow the right candidate to be successful in working with our Youth and helping us to: Separate a Troubled Past from a Bright Future.
