    Description

    Our client, a leading apparel & sporting goods manufacturing company, is looking for an Inventory Planner. This is for an initial duration of 6 months and is located in Boston, MA.

    This is a Hybrid Position (Mon – Thu – Onsite; & Friday – remote)

    Looking for:

    • Looking for a candidate to be a process improvement expert. The role will complete inventory analysis and make key decisions that will drive opportunity and service levels while balancing risk with inventory ownership.
    • role will also heavily drive data analysis and propel reporting and data visualization forward for the Inventory Management team and our cross functional partners.
    • candidate needs to be entrepreneurial, process oriented, and a fact based and analytical decision maker. We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and embraces growth and evolution.

    Skills and experience:

    • Degree
    • years of related experience in forecasting, purchasing, planning, inventory management or replenishment in a consumer goods company
    • improvement/design background.
    • average Excel and Power Point skills
    • experience required.
    • experience strongly preferred.
    • analytical skills, ability to generate and use quantitative, as well as qualitative data for analysis and decision-making purposes.
    • written and verbal communication skills to engage and influence leaders across the organization.
