Position Summary
The Plant Controller is a strategic finance leader responsible for overseeing financial operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, drives operational efficiency, and supports decision-making aligned with corporate goals. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for each plant.
- Consolidate financial results and provide executive-level reporting.
- Monitor and improve plant-level KPIs.
- Manage standard costing and variance analysis.
- Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation across sites.
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with plant managers and leads to align financial and operational strategies.
- Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity
- Maintain and enhance ERP/accounting systems in coordination with the CFO.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes.
- Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, with multi-site responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry.
