    Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

    We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a reputable hospital in Belmont, NY.

    About the Assignment:

    This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

    • Providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring women and their newborns
    • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medical history
    • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Responding promptly to emergencies and code situations

    Requirements:

    To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

    • A valid RN license in the state of practice
    • BLS certification and Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) preferred
    • One to three years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
