Do you have experience working with a team of Systems Engineers, Software Developers, and Mission System Operators in an Agile environment and an understanding DoD policies, issues, and priorities? If so, this position is for you Come aboard as AMERICAN SYSTEMS' next Systems Engineer/Mission Systems Operator As a Systems Engineer/Mission System Operator, you will:

    • Operate a suite of software applications serving large-scale, high-performance computing, supercomputing and parallel processing platforms in an R&D setting.

    • Conduct software testing across multiple platforms and provide results to Government representatives for review and adjudication; provide reporting on software deficiencies and support corrective action development efforts.
    • Participate in software development reviews.
    • Provide onsite, and offsite when applicable, support during test events and demonstration exercises; requires travel approximately 4 weeks a year.
    • Coordinate with external partner programs for data collection efforts and analysis.
    • Support system requirements development and verification efforts.
    • Support System of System reviews and architecture development efforts
    Job Requirements


    • Engineering degree (BS) preferred
    Systems Engineering experience with a Business Degree (BS) acceptable with 10-11 years of experience.


    • Five years of Program/Project Management experience in DoD or IC acquisitions.
    • Five years of Systems Engineering experience.
    • Ten years of experience collaborating with government agencies and/or DoD services.
    • Current TS/SCI clearance

    The salary/hourly range for this position is $155,000 - $175,000
    Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law
