    Sales Associate Role Summary

    The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a retail store environment. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet Customers and Provide Excellent Service: Assist customers with their shopping experience, answer product-related questions, and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Process Transactions: Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system, ensure accurate cash handling, and process customer returns.
    • Merchandise Management: Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management, receive freight, and organize incoming products.
    • Maintain Store Appearance: Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe store environment.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service to meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Physical Demands: Frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, bend, and twist.
    • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred, knowledge of FFL requirements for firearms sales strongly preferred.

    Work Environment:

    • Retail Store Environment: Work in a dynamic retail store environment with cold and warm conditions.
    • Irregular Schedule: Be available to work an irregular schedule, including evenings and weekends.

    Equipment and Tools:

    • Computer: Use computer software and network to manage store operations.
    • Cash Register-Scanner: Utilize the KCX cash register system to process transactions.
    • Telephone and Fax Machine: Answer phone calls and send faxes as needed.
