- Serve as the Lead Database Architect
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand and document technical requirements.
- Collaborate with team to generate technical documentation including development planning, technical architecture, software testing, and deployment process.
- Participate in the development and execution of Change Management and Release Management Plans.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and alternative solutions as part of an analysis of alternatives (AOA), with the goal of improving the stability, reliability, and availability of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- Make internal and systematic changes to technical aspects as part of change management processes.
- Participate in team calls and meetings.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports on the progress of assigned tasks.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures and participate in period reviews of existing processes.
- Provide after-hours remote support for incidents and emergencies as needed.
- Be available on Government site in Washington, DC during normal hours of operations.
- Perform multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm.
- Broad knowledge of engineering procedures.
- Strong technical skills and background.
- A knack for learning new technologies.
- A blend of good problem-solving and innovation.
