    SUMMARY Responsible for the proper and safe delivery of bulk propane to patrons. Responsible for general vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Delivery of propane and other possible products in an accurate and responsible manner.

    Completes and maintains all necessary paperwork, service records, equipment handbooks, and truck maintenance records.

    Assists in the unloading, loading, and delivery bulk propane.

    Prepares invoices for administrative billing

    Make and receive phone calls to and from patrons ordering products.

    Performs line tests on tanks.

    Pick-up tanks from patrons.

    Works the seasonal hours required to accomplish the workload around peak seasonal times.

    Must know, understand and comply with all safety and governmental regulations.

    Possesses basic computer skills.

    Provides positive customer service & co-employee relations.

    Assists other locations and departments to accomplish company goals.

    Responsible for operating within the credit and operations guidelines of the company

    Assists with, or performs minor and major repair projects of company equipment.

    Responsible for making recommendations to improve facilities and to improve operations. Responsible for tools and equipment provided by the company.

    Responsible for attending training opportunities, employee meetings and other meetings as directed, to stay informed and improve job skills.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Possesses or acquires the following within 60 days of assuming the duties of the position:

    Valid Commercial Drivers License with: Class A, Air Brakes endorsement; Hazardous Materials endorsement and Tanker; Powered Lift Truck Certification, Propane Certifications

    Required to have:

    Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays in season

    Ability to operate large trucks/heavy machinery

    Ability to work long hours as conditions demand
