Senior Accountant - Stamford, United States - Oakridge Staffing

Description

Working within a small team the Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial statement development including analyzing actual versus projected results and compiling quarterly financial statements.

The Senior Accountant will support monthly, quarterly and year end closings in coordination with controlling and the offshore team.

Key Functions:

Participate and be responsible for the actuals during the closings with a special focus on balance sheet, non-operating items, and taxes.

Preparation of Quarterly and Annual Statutory and GAAP Financial Statements in accordance with corporate standards and guidelines
Perform tax calculations and declarations.
Prepare analytical reviews and reporting packages for senior management.
Month-end reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Tests and troubleshoots the implementation of SAP reporting enhancements

Monitoring and reconciliations:
bank reconciliation, accounts receivables & payables, fixed asset module.
Assist in Financial Audit.
This will be a hybrid role, onsite in Stamford, CT 3 days per week.
