At Ochsner Health whether you work with patients every day or support those who do you are making a difference and that matters Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today The Vice Chair of Radiology Southshore will serve as the regional leader overseeing radiology services across multiple facilities This role is responsible for ensuring high quality imaging services operational efficiency and strategic alignment with the broader health systems goals The Vice Chair will collaborate with hospital leadership radiologists technologists and administrative teams to optimize service delivery implement best practices drive continuous improvement across the region h3 Leadership & Strategy /lh3 ul li Serve as the regional radiology leader overseeing imaging operations physician engagement quality initiatives across multiple hospitals li Collaborate with the Chair of Radiology hospital executives develop execute unified vision for radiology services in region hr Drive standardization integration of radiology services improve patient care efficiency financial performance hr Represent radiology regional leadership meetings ensure alignment institutional priorities hr /ul ul li Oversee imaging workflow optimization timely high-quality diagnostic services hr Partner department administrators imaging directors throughput reduce turnaround times TAT enhance patient experience hr Ensure adherence accreditation compliance regulatory requirements e.g ACR TJC CMS hr Implement evidence-based best practices emerging technologies enhance diagnostic accuracy efficiency hr /li/li/li/hr/ul ul li Support recruitment retention professional development of physicians across region hrs Foster culture collaboration teamwork among physicians technologists referring providers hrs Address operational staffing challenges on-call coverage subspecialty needs workload distribution hrs Develop mentorship programs educational opportunities for physicians within region hrs/ul ul li Lead quality improvement projects enhance diagnostic accuracy patient safety workflow efficiency hrs Monitor analyze key performance metrics e.g report TATs peer review outcomes imaging utilization hrs Implement initiatives unnecessary imaging appropriateness criteria compliance hrs Partner hospital quality teams ensure radiologys integral part patient care pathways
