responsibilities:
The Controls Automation Engineer will collaborate with various interdisciplinary teams to transform concepts into tangible solutions.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate conveyor control solutions, automated material handling equipment, and autonomous vehicles.
- Crafting and maintaining electrical schematic drawings.
- Developing and troubleshooting control system software using ladder logic and ST.
- Providing technical expertise in controls and electrical engineering.
- Offering on-site commissioning support and performing necessary electrical field wiring as required.
Travel: This role involves up to 30-40% travel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in control systems engineering and PLC programming.
-Must have PLC Programming on Rockwell Platforms Studio 5000/ RSLogix5000.
- Must be experienced with programming material handling systems like conveyors, sorters, and MDRs.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
- Proficiency in Schematic Design using AutoCAD.
- Capability to assist in equipment commissioning, including wiring and occasional installation.
- Familiarity with commissioning VFDs, PLCs, Remote, Barcode Scanners, and establishing communications via Ethernet IP, Device Net, and Profibus communication protocols.
