    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Employee will be assigned to either Counselor or Instructor responsibilities. Responsibilities include giving leadership, direction, and supervision to children in a full-day camp setting for ages 5-12 years. Employee will be Leading the group in organized activities and focusing on the safety, enjoyment, and positive relationships of each child.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
    • $14.42-$15.15 hourly, based on relevant experience to the role.
    • Sick-time pay.

    IMPORTANT DATES:
    • Camp starts on May 28th and ends August 9th.
    • Training starts May 13th; all Counselors must be available for training starting May 13th.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Position requires both adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification
    • High School Diploma Preferred.
    • Minimum age of 18.
    • Experience supervising children. Ability to visually observe children and to physically intervene when the safety of a child could be compromised.
    • Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor program settings and activities.
    • Physically able to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
    • Must meet all state requirements for working in a licensed child care facility.
    • Comfortable supervising children in the pool
