Drywall Estimator - Commercial Projects
Are you a skilled Drywall Estimator looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable, growth-minded contractor? We're partnering with an established commercial drywall company that's known for quality work, steady backlog, and a strong reputation with GCs.
This group is looking to add an Estimator who can help strengthen their preconstruction team and take ownership of bids from start to finish.
Position Highlights:
- Competitive base salary + performance bonus
- Established firm with strong repeat clients and diverse project mix
- Clear path for career advancement (Senior Estimator or Chief Estimator)
- Stable leadership team and healthy project pipeline
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for drywall, framing, and acoustical scopes
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to ensure complete coverage
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and coordinate with project managers on awarded jobs
- Maintain organized estimate files and accurate historical cost data
- 3+ years of drywall estimating experience (commercial or institutional preferred)
- Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, or similar software
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and project documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
