We have a shop position for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Bowling Green, Virginia.This role is with a well established company with several locations throughout the Unites States and is responsible for maintaining Military heavy equipment.

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and rebuild a variety of off-highway heavy equipmentOperate/inspect equipment to diagnose issuesDismantle and reassemble equipment using hosts and hand toolsUse of micrometers and gaugesReplaces defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissionWelds broken parts and structural membersQualifications:Two years of hands-on experience working on a variety of large Heavy Equipment or heavy duty military vehiclesAbility to read and understand schematicsMechanics with the ability to rebuild components or a strong background with electrical and hydraulic systems will be given preferenceMechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines and diagnostics will be preferredWelding is an assetCompensation:$26.83/hour to startH&W Cash in Lieu benefit of $4.
